Society of AQUA METAL™ Research Launch

In April 2007, the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine established the
"Preventive Wellness Medicine Course" with an endowment from health
goods manufacturer, Phiten Co., Ltd.
There, research projects on topics such as "Lifestyle Diseases" and "Anti-Aging" were started with a focus on my particular areas of expertise, oxidative stress and immunity.
In addition, studies commenced to investigate the effects of "AQUA TITAN™/AQUA-TITANIUM™,"
the key material in Phiten's necklaces and other sports and health products.
At about the same time, research related Phiten's AQUA TITAN™/AQUA-TITANIUM™ materials began
at universities around the world, including Technical University Braunschweig (Germany),
UCLA (United States) and Massey University (New Zealand).
After receiving significant research findings, researchers from the four aforementioned universities gathered in Kyoto to hold the first symposium in August 2009.
As a result, the Society of AQUA TITAN™/AQUA-TITANIUM™ Research was established to
further mutual research and conduct fruitful discussions on study findings.
